Portraits

| This is my mom, i like this photo of her because i think you can tell that she doesn't want to be in the outdoors. |
![]() |
| i love this photo because again it could mean a lot of things. The leaves vary in color and make the photo look more hopeful. |

portraits intro
1) In school I'm going to photograph alena, each person has a backstory that you may not know about. i want to capture that backstory. at home I'm going to photograph my dad because he looks intense when he is working, and focused. He is an important in my life . im going to try to capture texture, intensity, expressions, create a backstory, and feeling.
2) Five things i learned was the difference between candid and portrait, the difference between getting up and personal and far away

| I like the intensity in her legs but yet she seems so laid back making it look easy |
![]() |
| i like this picture because of the natural framing and the bright colors, he doesn't notice the beauty around him. |

| Like this photo because the photo looks bright but because the child has a flashlight impies that it is dark. Making him look or imply that he is scared, but his facials don't show it. |

Fall photos
![]() |
| This picture reminded me of fall because fashion week and dark makeup looks remind me of fall, brown eyes also are the most appreciated in the fall time. |
![]() |
| This photo reminded me of fall because fall feels very homey and chilly. |
![]() |
| Fall is the season to stay inside, read a book or watch netflix, and cuddle with a cat. |

Rules of composition
![]() |
| this follows the rule of thirds because the butterfly is along the line of focus. |
2)Balance- subjects balanced out across the picture.
![]() |
| the stick and city balance etcher out. |
![]() |
| the lines from the house and the window create natural lines. |
![]() |
| this picture has symmetry because the trees are symmetrical, and the wooden posts are. |
![]() |
| it tells a story with the way the photo was taken |
![]() |
| the focus is on the flower but the mountains are just as important . |
![]() |
| this perspective makes the photo look very deep. |
![]() |
| the window frame frames the trees and lake naturally. |
9)cropping- crop a photo where a small subject would be lost is now the main point, get up close.
![]() |
| this photo was cropped in on the pencil tips so you can see all the detail, which you wouldn't have seen before. |
10)break the rules- the rules of composition are not a necessity, they are a guideline but break the rules with a purpose.

Favorite First Photo

Welcome to my blog!
I'm craving food.
![]() |
| I like this picture because of the way the leaves look in the light. The woman in this photo looks almost porcelain and very dainty. |
![]() |
| I like this photo because of how simple it is. And although its simple there's a lot of feeling behind it and a lot of details. |
